When data is imported into MET/TEAM, the assumption is made that date/time values in the data are in local time of the workstation where the import is initiated. Therefore it is important not to ship import data across time zones without adjusting dates/times accordingly. The UTC offset applied to date/time values in the import data is noted in the import log, for future reference.
